Linwood Barclay

I recently watched a webinar with the Canadian Author Linwood Barclay at the summer Festival of Writing. Linwood has sold over 10 million books worldwide. From an early age he has always had a love of writing

His writing took off after his book ‘No Time for Goodbye’ was summer reading with Richard and Judy in 2008. This book was No 1 Top 50 UK best seller for 7 weeks. He sold as many as 5,000 copies a day.

Interestingly ‘No Time for Goodbye’ was first published in Germany and it was highly successful with great sales. It was then published in the UK and between May and June it sold only eleven hardbacks. It’s amazing what the power of good reviews can do.

When I told my husband I had watched the Linwood Barclay webinar he disappeared and brought me the book ‘A Tap on the Window’. It had me hooked from the first page and the twists and turns it took had me totally on the wrong track. What an ending! You must read it to enjoy it. Enjoy.
